I have to do a lot of things, I have not time ;.;

La giuria sta procedendo con le votazioni ed è a buon punto. Fra non molto potremo rendervi noti finalisti e vincitori delle varie categorie. The Contest "An Hero" is officially closed.

We'd like to thank all the partecipants for showing us their hero ideal: for their beautiful works, for the sweetness and ideals exposed, for humor, innovation, epicness or romance with which they followed us in this months.
Choosing the three winners plus the Ultimate Winner between the x arrived Entries will be very difficult, and for this the Jury would like to explain you the system it will use.
Each one of the Jury members will have to choose a score between One and Five to evaluate your works, and will vote without knowing the other's Jury member's vote.
When the votes of all will be arrived, a calculation will take place to evaluate the greater scores.
All the partecipants getting over 40 points will continue to the final stage.
Then, we will edit our Journals and News, containing all the finalists works and the winners.

The winners will be also informed privatelly per Note.
Votes will anyway not be made official till 8 october 2009; after this date, each day could be the right one: be ready for news from us!

Ci teniamo a ringraziare tutti i partecipanti per averci mostrato la loro idea di eroe: per i loro bellissimi lavori, per la dolcezza e gli ideali che ci hanno mostrato, per l'umorismo, l'innovazione, l'epicità od il romanticismo con cui ci hanno accompagnato in questi mesi.
Scegliere i 3 vincitori più 1 vincitore assoluto fra le x entries giunte sarà difficilissimo, ed a questo scopo la giuria vuole illustrarvi i metodi che adotterà.
Ogni giurato avrà a disposizione un punteggio da 1 a 5 per valutare i vostri lavori, e voterà senza conoscere i voti degli altri giurati.
Quando i voti di tutti saranno giunti, avverrà lo spoglio e conteggeremo i punteggi maggiori.
Tutti coloro che avranno superato i 40 punti saranno finalisti.
Allora pubblicheremo i nostri journals ed una news, con tutti i lavori finalisti ed i vincitori.

What is a Hero? Show us in all the facets you want, using the art forms that you find more congenial.

A child's memory, a fictional character giving the courage to go ahead, an irresponsible person misunderstood by the world A Hero can manifest himself or herself to us in many different ways, and we all have ours. This contest bids you to show your ideal of hero, with the medium you deem appropriate: a comic's page, a written story, a sculpture, a Haiku, needle-knitting... Whatever the mean you prefer to express yourself with, let loose your Heroic spirit!!

CONTEST RULES:

Works included in the following categories are admitted in the contest:

DRAWING (pencil sketch, full illustration, single comic page, b/w, color, traditional, digital. There are no limits. In case of baloons or texts included, writings in the following languages: Italian, English, Spanish, French are admitted.)
PHOTOGRAPHY (b/w, color, traditional or digitally modified: even in this case, there are no limitations, but the photos must be of your making.)
WRITINGS (Poetry – in any metre or style- and prose. There are no limits to the lenght, but common sense will be apreciated: no serial stories! Will be admitted writings in the following languages: Italian, English, Spanish, French.)
OTHER: (all works not included in the previous categories: Sculpture, Modeling, Knitting, Cooking, Photomanipulation, Pixelart, Collage, Animation... Any mean of expression you like.)

Cos'è per voi un Eroe? Mostratecelo in tutte le sfaccettature che volete, coi mezzi artistici che più vi sono congeniali.

Il ricordo di un bambino, una figura immaginaria che dona il coraggio di guardare avanti, una persona incosciente ed incompresa dal mondo. Un Eroe può apparirci in molti modi diversi, ed ognuno di noi ha il suo. Questo contest v'invita a mostrare qual è la vostra idea di eroe, e vi invita a farlo con i mezzi che vi paiono più adatti: dalla tavola di fumetto, al racconto scritto, alla scultura, all'haiku, all'uncinetto... Qualunque sia il mezzo con cui amate esprimervi, date libero sfogo alla vostra vena eroica!

REGOLE DEL CONTEST:


Sono ammessi al contest elaborati rientranti nelle seguenti categorie:

1) DISEGNO (schizzo a matita, illustrazione completa, singola tavola a fumetto, b/n, colore, tradizionale, digitale. Non ci sono limiti. Nell'eventualità di baloons o testi, sono ammessi scritti in lingua : italiana, inglese, spagnola, francese.)
